Back in January, we decided to fly out to Utah for a few days so we could hang out with Davie and Amy and meet their new baby Lettie, We booked flights with Allegiant Airlines that were only 90$ roundtrip! Too good to be true right? RIGHT. Worst airline ever. We got there bright and early on Friday morning, and besides the staff and flight attendants being the rudest people we've ever encountered, we were excited to get to Utah...and feeling great we didn't spend a lot of money to get there ;) We arrive in Provo and it's a bit foggy out, but not so bad that you can't see the ground or anything. Well, the pilot decides to circle around for about 45 minutes and says he can't land just yet. A little while later he tells us we're going back to Mesa and that they'll let us know what's going on when we get there. Everyone on the plane was furious...I was hungry, annoyed and tired. Not a good combo. When we landed in Mesa, they told us that the flight had been cancelled until tomorrow morning and that no refunds would be given because it was weather related. This is when people started yelling and lining up to scream at the employees. They had to bring police in to make sure people were in order, and they announced that there was a flight to Ogden and there were 17 spots left. It was nuts. We decided to leave and call it quits and not even try to get in line. We called my dad to come pick us up, and by this time it was 11am and our flight was at 6:50. OVER IT
Since we were in the area, we stopped at my favorite taco place, Joyride tacos. They made me feel a tiny bit better ;)
Then we made a day of it!! Mini golfing and arcade games at Golfland.
^ Our main reason for going. We love blue raspberry laffy taffy and you can't buy them anywhere! We've looked. So, we win them instead with tickets from skee ball.
Finally, on Saturday morning, we made it to Provo. Greeted by two of my favorite girls.
The new favorite. I've been replaced by Landon..I'm only a little bitter about it.

| We got italian food, went bowling, got ice cream and just relaxed. Davie and Amy were awesome hosts and we had a really great time. |
We finally get to meet miss Lettie too. She is an absolute doll. Newborn babies are my favorite!!
Aren't they the sweetest?

The trip started out awful and it ended awful, so we were thankful the in between time was fun.
We were supposed to fly out at 12 on Sunday, but the flight got delayed by 2 hours, Every hour it was getting delayed. When it got delayed until 7:40, we had the feeling we needed to find another way home. We looked at flights and couldn't find any cheaper than 500$...So we decided to rent a car (300$ later) and we drove all night. It was Landon's first day of spring semester the next day and I couldn't afford to miss any more work. We got in at 7am, and we both slept until 9. Landon missed his first class and I was late to work. It could've been worse, but what turned out to be the cheapest trip we've ever taken, turned into one of the most expensive!
We called and emailed Allegiant, multiple times but all they told us is that if our flight had already passed, it would take 60 days. About a month later I received a voucher in my email for about 160$ to use on flights. We'll see if we ever use it..
