For spring break this year, my parents took the whole family to Disneyland! Since the last time we were all together was a year ago at our wedding, they knew they wanted to plan a big reunion trip for us. This trip fell exactly on mine and Landon's 1 year anniversary, which worked out perfect for us ;) a free trip to Disneyland to celebrate our marriage and the place we met! It was such an amazing and fun trip. My parents were so generous and thoughtful and really outdid themselves. We had a freaking blast. We spent 3 days at the parks, and there was no fighting! Win!
*all the really nice, quality pictures are courtesy of my brother Davie :)*
My dad scheduled a character breakfast to start the day, at the Plaza Inn. This was such a fun way to start the trip and get us in the mood. Mostly the adults, the kiddos were all still trying to wake up and not be overwhelmed ;)
The Riters/McCammons 8 years ago
The Riters/McCammons now
The whole damn family!! The Winters/Riters and McCammons. All 14 of us. We've gained 6 new family members since last time we were all here together. I sure do love these people.
We've had such an amazing first year of marriage. We've been to Disneyland tons of times since we first met, and it never gets old.
^My favorite picture from the trip ^
Of course the Riters all had to ride the "train coaster" Thunder Mountain is our jam. I'm so glad this ride was open. Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flights, Grizzly River Rapids and California Soaring were all closed! Total bummer.
My tied for favorite thing to do at Disneyland are the rides of course, and also all the food! I'd pay 135$ just so I could eat my favorite treats :) Jalapeno cheese pretzels, churros, chocolate caramel covered marshmallows...just to name a few.
Can't decide if the marshmallow I'm holding looks like a turd...or something else ;) whatever, it was still delicious!
