lately

I've been off the grid for awhile! Which is odd, considering I don't have much to do. The past few weeks have been a bit of a blur though. I ended up losing my job, which came as quite a shock and gave me a mini anxiety attack for a bit. I was lucky enough to have friends from all over helping me get interviews and passing off my resume to their supervisors. Even though things felt so up in the air and scary, my interviews were scheduled in Arizona at the same time we were going to be there for our nephew's baby blessing. The timing really couldn't have been more perfect. Originally I was going to move home for good that weekend and start working, but since I didn't have a job anymore, I was able to do the interviews and then come home to be with Landon, which was great because we were so bummed we would've had to be apart for a few weeks. After my last interview on Wednesday, I sped home. Seriously, I made it back in about 4 hours. I wasn't feeling too good about the interview, because I don't think well on my feet, and I tend to ramble. I must have done something right though, because an hour after I got home, my interviewer called me and officially offered me the job! I was pleasantly surprised :) Landon and I both feel this is the best position for me. It's close to home, it pays well and it offers full benefits. We're feeling really blessed! The best part is that I don't start until the 25th, which means I get to stay here in California until Lando starts school! I really stressed for no reason...like always ;) everything always works out. I lost my job and a week later was offered an even better one.

Any who, here are some pictures from the last few weeks. The quality is horrid because they're from my phone, and I've yet to master the art of amazing iPhone pics!

Landon playing dress up at the cousin's house! It's so nice having family in Cali with us. We're so grateful when they have us over for dinner.

Our idea of an awesome date night is going to the arcade and using our ticket winnings to buy the rare and delicious blue raspberry laffy taffy. They're soooo good! And seriously impossible to find.

This little cutie was the reason for our visit! He got blessed last weekend. The blessing was beautiful and simple. Jared did a great job.
This was our first time meeting him. I love the difference between these two pictures. Landon admitted to being nervous...something about it being tricky for him holding newborn babies necks, haha.
Stone is such a sweet baby. I love him.

Little Miss Coral. She's grown so much the few months we've been gone! Still as cute as ever.

Wes' "cheese" face cracks me up.

Isn't he just the cutest?

Playing with uncle Landon.

We missed these kiddos!! This weekend was too short.

Love them.

One of Landon's co-workers birthday was yesterday and he was craving a BJ's pulled pork sandwhich. I don't care too much for that place, except their awesome pazookies...That may have been the only reason I went ;)

Doesn't he look so cute in his work outfit?
