10 things you should know about me

-My comfort food is a bagel and LOTS of cream cheese...with either a Coke or chocolate milk. Einstein Bagels is crack to me. 

-I can watch A League of Their Own, over and over and over again. I love everything about that movie. Whenever it's my turn to choose a movie, I almost always suggest it.

-If I had the brains for it, I would love to be a marine biologist. Talk about a dream job! The ocean fascinates the hell out of me. So much wonder and mystery. I tried really hard to be good at science, but it's just not my forte. AT ALL. Perhaps in another life. 

-I like to shop....and spend money. I can't help it. Whether it's buying groceries, or clothes or decorations for the house! I love it. This joy has come to an unfortunate halt since I've been married...but I guess there are much better things ahead than anything we leave behind...right? Wrong. 

-I want to be a performer. Singing, dancing, whatever..I want to do it. But I also don't want to be afraid to do it. Crippling anxiety much? As a little girl I was always singing solos and performing in school plays and I loved it. Somewhere along the road, I lost the ability. Hopefully it'll come back one day

-I retain A LOT of useless information. Random facts about things only I seem to be interested in, movie quotes (tons of movie quotes) , book quotes...it's all tucked away and stored in my brain. No matter what the situation, I can always find an appropriate quote from a movie or TV show. There are like 5 people in my life who really understand me and my references. God bless my husband for knowing what I'm referencing 95% of the time. #truelove

-I've never in my 10 years of driving been pulled over for speeding. I'm a really cautious driver. I have had plenty of incidents involving cops though...but those are stories for another day. 

-As a little girl, I hated using toothpaste and would have cavities out the wazoo! And tons of silver teeth. Pirate status. Don't worry, I started using toothpaste regularly at some point and haven't had a cavity in years and years. 

-I play the piano. I've been playing since I was 7 years old, it's weird to think it's almost been 20 years! It's the thing I've done the longest in my life. And I have this irrational fear that one day I'll lose my hands and have to play with my feet...I don't even know. 

-I'm also a chronic worrier. If there's anything that could go wrong, or something that went wrong 100 years ago...I worry about it, or still worry about it. That old man on the street asking for money? I'll worry about him for months. That creaking nose on the roof? Every night I'll think it's someone living in the attic secretly stealing our food. I won't really know someone isn't up there until I look...which I won't ever do.
