Sunday in LA

Yesterday was our last Sunday in California, so we decided to make it a fun one. We woke up early (on accident, we wanted to sleep in, but couldn't) and decided to finally catch a Dodgers game. We had been talking about it allll summer and because the games usually are at night or during the afternoon when Landon is working, we weren't able to. We saw that there was a game at 1:10pm and luckily we found cheap, cheap tickets on Craigslist in only a few minutes. Our tickets were 15$ each and in the shade! Hallelujah for the shade. We're definitely spoiled in AZ with Chase stadium and the roof being covered. If we had had to sit in the sun, we would not have stayed the whole game.

We were really excited for the Dodger Dogs!!! We're big hot dog fans around here so these were a definite must.

Since the game ended fairly early...we headed over to Chinatown to wander and maybe find some food. I wasn't that impressed with LA's Chinatown, I've been to a few different ones and this was really gross and dumpy.

Landon was amazed by the Samurai swords. He kept saying, if he had the money he'd buy all of his guy friends one for their birthdays :) haha, so thoughtful.

We found some gold lamps and we paid our respects to Robin Williams as the Genie.

We ended the night at Taylor's steakhouse, which is an old fashioned steakhouse from the 50's in downtown LA. It was delicious and simple. The night was still young and we kept thinking of things we could go visit or walk around at, but we were so full, all we wanted to do was go home, lay down, eat Popsicles and watch a movie :) Which is exactly what we did!
